By bling I mean big *** piece of polished aluminum under my hood lol. I'm sure that bar has much better firewall points to connect to than the JIC also.

follow the advice given by swoope and get the Mazdaspeed. I myself am still a bit uncertain about how much improvement the strut bar itself has given but the brake support is awesome for sure.

I was thinking of taking a die grinder to the stock strut bar and cut out a notch right over the adjuster

yale02, I think I am going to get the Mazdaspeed, we know mazdaspeed would't make something that is worse than stock.

Try Mazdatrix, the description says it is for the rear, not sure if it will work for the front as well.

That link is for shocks and springs, the point in the thread is for a strut tower brace that gives access to my Brand New Tokico DSK-519 Shocks and Springs kit, I'm not going to change out my entire Shocks and springs I am very happy with them, just want different strut tower brace.

I've narrowed it down to either the Mazdaspeed or the JIC 4 Pointer.

Would you like some pictures showing access to the top of the strut mount?

Here is a picture showing the gap for adjusting and then an engine bay shot.

I may get that one, I like the "Bling" factor. It looks like it adds so much more rigidity to the suspension, and as Borat would say "I Like!".

Thanks for posting the pics

It definitely is nice looking, but it doesn't really make a good connection to the firewall hence making it a 2 point in my opinion. It only goes halfway down the bolts on the firewall. It doesn't even push the heat retardant material against the firewall its so loose there. But to people that aren't in the know, it is amazing lol.

They're inexpensive because they're all replicas...
They even have a replica AUTO EXE under body brace that they sell for half the price of the real one. http://mazdatrix.com/8UndercarBrace.htm

You post some good pics and the 4 pointer looks real nice... Then you shoot it down and tell us all how it is all just for looks and make me change my mind again!

The new stock 4 pointer has a bracket that attaches to the firewall then the 2 brace pipes attach to it, I wonder if it does a better job than that JIC?

I thought about getting those the under car braces , I bet the car doesn't flex even a tiny bit if you have all that and a rear strut tower brace. I think it would probably be over kill for a daily driver though, unless you weren't very fond of your kidneys or your teeth to begin with.

I just don't want you to buy it for the wrong reasons. Buy it for looks and access to adjusting the shocks, not for suspension rigidity. I doubt it is any more rigid than a 2 pt.
