Question What's Brand is a good front strut tower brace?

I have the Tokico adjustable shocks and need access to the adjustment **** without taking off the Upper Strut tower bar, what brand is good for access and also is better than stock in performance?

The Greddy has good access and is very inexpensive, is the price so low because it sucks?

I do prefer a polished aluminum or a chrome plated finish, and would like to avoid the purple, yellow or other fruity colored ends if there is even one that fits all of the above criteria I would love to know about it.

Any suggestions would be great

ahh,

i can answer this for you.. as all tower to tower bars do the same thing.

the mazdaspeed allows adjustment and a brake support.. the carbon fibre does not do a thing. it looks good. the brake support. does a lot..

bad news. one just sold for a great deal...

so, which would you prefer? apples or oranges?

if the 4 point bar still bolts on to the strut tower, does it not have a strut bar function as well?

ok,

here you go..

99% of the people here cannot benefit from it..

will they buy it. yep..

do me a favor .. take off the stock strut bar and jack up the car..

the best strut bar out there is the mspeed bar. not because it changes a the shock to shock mount, but the brake support does wonders..

and if you look that is being covered by richard paul..

so, the stuff you are doing for the transmission is brilliant.. i would like one please.

but what do i know?

and more btw, your design blocks the ability to adjust the front shocks..

i do answer all pm.

beers

can you please explain further on how the brake support does wonders or maybe send me a link so i can read more about it?
pictures on the brake support would be great as well.

and what do you mean "the stuff i'm doing for the transmission is brilliant"??

maybe you think i'm someone else?

i'm just a normal joe who can barely do simple maintainance stuff and occassionally take my car to streets of willow springs....

I have that 4 pt strut bar from JIC, and it is nothing more than a bling piece. I am almost certain it does nothing more than any normal 2 pt bar.

I'm not really too keen on the 4 pointers, I don't want any extra blockage of hand access in my engine bay. I am trying to get that set from the the guy swoope reffered me to but he only wants to deal with someone local.

4 pt does not give access to the adjusters by the looks of that picture.

If the adjusters are anything like on the Koni's it does leave room for adjustment. I am actually picking up something from that guy tomorrow if you can work out something I can ship it to you. Or keep it for myself and sell you the JIC lol whatever you want. I can get you some pictures from a side angle showing the clearance over the top of the shock if you would like.

Nevermind, if he hasn't found a buyer for the bars I may just get them myself.

Yeah, its a really good deal. I wouldn't pass it up if you even just wanted to try them and then sell them yourself.

The MS strutbar already has the brake brace. You only need the AF brace for a strutbar that doesn't have one, like the stock one.

Thats cool they changed it to a 4 pointer

Does anyone have any idea where I can get another Adjustment tool for the Tokico front shocks? I know I can use an allen key but I want to leave the adjusters on at all times. All of the kits only come with one.
I have searched for hours and they aren't listed anywhere, only the rear extensions are.

Try TC Sportlline's strut tower brace. They make both front and rear, and the price is very good.

If you find a place to get an extra key, please post it or PM me. I'm in the same boat as you with the Tokicos and the stock strut bar - a pain to get to and I can only adjust out 3.5 turns and still get the key out.
