I have a 05 rx8 shinka. I need new tires and was curious as to what other owners use on their rx8's?

Suggestions welcome. I was looking at Falken and Hancook!?

Your choices are endless, I'm a big fan of Kumho for the price or Toyo T1r's if you have the money. In reality though, there's so many options available on the market.

 

Depends. Are you looking for all-season, winter, performance, or etc?

I would base the decision a lot on where you live - i.e. you don't want summer performance if you have harsh winters.

 

Be careful of summer vs. all season. If it gets cold, summer tires can really stop working well. For summer, I really like the Hankook Ventus V-12. But, below freezing, not so good, actually really bad. I live in Florida, I have only seen pictures of winter tires.

Tire Rack has tire reviews and consumer comments. You might find what your looking for and do some research. I have Yokohamas all-season and they have a good grip. Good luck with your search.
