Seriously, the problem with just linking someone to a "coolest wheels" thread or something is that there isn't as much discussion. Plus some of those threads are really old. If they make a thread about it, maybe they're interest in some discourse on it? Plus, she actually came out and listed some of the wheels she liked, so we could offer what we thought of them.
Either way, this thread is out of control because I wasn't going to buy new wheels for my 8 and then I started looking through this thread and other wheel threads. And now they'll be here by Friday.

I guess I just don't see the problem with answering someone's question, rather than just throwing a bunch of links at them. They said they didn't know what to get, so they obviously wanted some people to offer them some input. Plus, sometimes a 40 page thread isn't always the easiest place to get information from.
She posted a question, it started a discussion, people got the information. It seems to me like the system worked!

Personally, I dislike chrome, but it's your car, so stick with what you like. I've always said the majority of the world is idiots, so if you try to please them, you're catering to idiots.
To me, chrome wheels just reek of old Caprice Classic on 22s thumping down the road as the trunk rattles. But you are right, it is not very common on RX8s, so it does stand out. And they always say there's no such thing as bad publicity...
