Alex, check out the Momo V-10s (Page 3 I think) in the thread lepi linked too. I personally think they would look incredible on a black 8, and they make a black version too.
In fact, because I am a nice guy (and it's a slow day in the office), here's a pic. Though to be fair, the picture of just the wheel doesn't do justice to how great they look on the 8.

I think they mean that Porsche with the solid Porsche logo chromes wheels is ugly (which it is).
Going to shops is a good call - odds are you'll have them doing the install (?), and they can probably give you the best information. Heck, maybe you can get them to price match or something like that, and then get a better deal on installation. I don't know what the cost is - it doesn't seem like it should be too hard to slap 4 wheels on, but if you have the TPS system and stuff, it could be surprisingly expensive.

^to be frank - i wouldn't get any of them. Maybe Konig...but that's about it...
All are either too heavy or have terrible specs (i.e. width, diameter and offset)
Go with respectable
Enkei, Advan, Volk, AME, Work etc.
You still haven't mentioned your budget....that would help narrow down some selections

Enkei RPF1 = Approx $1,300
May not be the most appealing to most, but the specs' are excellent. Good size, good width, very strong and very light at an excellent price. You're not going to get more bang for the buck that this IMO.
If you're aiming below that in price you're going to narrow down your possible options greatly. You can still get good spec's on wheels however they will be heavier. This is why i asked you for a budget.
You can get a set of Sportmax's or Rota's that look like very popular brands and look decent for about $1000 if not less - you may be sacrificing weight and some quality - but as some have argued on here, it's not enough to make a stink about it ya know?
Throw a number out (budget) so i can help you better

Thats about right for the 18x9.5 +45, even though that was the price for mine with center caps/lugs/shipped.
If you want a set of RPF1 check out Fluid or AutoRnD. Discount tires said they will be ANYONE on enkei wheels. Long as you can give them a creditable source. Not to knock on any vendors.
If you do magically decide to go with RPF1s do yourself a favor and go with 265/35/18s instead of the 275. With me if I run with more than 1 person and tag a nice bump ill scuff my fender. This way you can still get the wide sexy look and dont have to worry ONE BIT about your fenders. Ill post a picture of my recent **** pucker when I get home.

I personally prefer 5 spokes, but that's just me. It all depends on the individual wheels too.
Where are you ordering from (if you don't mind me asking)? I ordered some Momo V-10s from Discount Tire Direct this weekend and they've already told me they're ready to ship!
