Calling All Enkei Owners

Why not start a thread for the Enkei owners. This should also help us see a few RX-8 Track Cars.

Well here are mine.
Front and Rear: 17X9 +40 Enkei RPM2 with Falken RT-615 255/40/17

Here is a video of the wheels. Eventually I will record something with a bit more quality, but this will do for now. As you can see they look a lot better in motion than sitting still...

This is a complete guess of mine since i'm wondering the same thing about the tape. Is it on your car so in case you hit a cone you won't leave scratches or damage on your paint?

Enkei RP03
Stuart's is 19x8.5 +35 (weight 9.3kg)
with Toyo Proxes T1-R 245/35 -19 93Y

Mine is 18x8 +40 (weight 8.8kg)
with my old Michellin Pilot Sport PS2 235/40 ZR 18
I also have the wheel nuts from Autoexe.

I love to have Stuart's 19 but he does not want to swap :o I keep tell him how light my wheel is but it does not work 19 looks great but 18 is lighter :p
I am looking at cheap option to find a second set of wheel and put a set of semislick on them... now I can :p

Enjoy the pics

Dro,
I haven't run accross a ninja on the track yet... but i'll keep a look out at the next night race. I think the fire coming out of the rear of the car may have been scaring them off.

LilBenny and EfiniRX8,
the tape is on there because its a 1.5 hour car ride to the track and also 1.5 hours back, and my car is a rock chip magnet. It also helps with cone rash.

Takahashi,
Those RP03s look great, and 19lbs for 18" is a great weight. Now you just need to work on your one-knee down gangster pose. Less smiling and more gang signs.

ROFL BigO!

Murix .... have you spray off the RP03 sticker yet! I have and I am going to custom made some and put them back. Although I like the clean look without the sticker right now. :p

Is your car near completion? I want to see it at one of the local races (and lose to it).

Not a disappointment. I think it was a Grand Idea!

Here is one of my best mods! Both width and sideview. Enkei RP-F1s.

Note: I have since removed the hood and just received center caps. I will post pics after a washandwax.

Very good choice with the RPF1s. If i didn't get my RPM2s for so cheap, i would have definetely picked those up.

I'm so glad you posted these, I just found a cheap set and didn't know if they would fit. I'm getting the same size. Can't wait! =D
