Brembo Brakes

Ok guys, here it is.... I will be getting MS Black Wheels and the Aerokit on Friday. I will post more pics.
BTW the guy installing the Brembos on my car "accidentally" scratched one of my calipers. The wheels needed a spacer and the idiot did not notice and turn the wheel......

They are cheap cast generic spacers that don't center on the lugs...

Mmmm, spacers not so good. Custom milled aluminum hat to provide offset clearance much better.

Spacers!

Hey guys, guess what? I got my new wheels and I don't need the crappy spacers anymore!!! Anyways, I had to put those spacers on because I was in the shop installing the brakes and they had to come to a quick solution, otherwise my car was going to stay there until I found good spacers. I could not put the tires on because they were hitting the calipers. Anyways, the brakes are AWESOME! :D They stop so quick and very very smooth. I am really happy, I though stock brakes were awesome but after trying these on.... the stock ones are just good. Anyways, I have pics here that I want to share with you, now that I have the MS wheels on.... CHEERS! :D

Nice wheels. brakes look amazing too. I like the gunmetal color too, but I'm not sure if it matches well with my black car... are these the magnesium forged ones? how much did they set you back?

Did you by chance weigh any of the Brembo components before installing them? Wheels are gorgeous

Did not, but lifted both rotors (the stock and the brembo) and even though Brembo was bigger and thicker it was lighter. Calipers were about the same... :D

Lschiavo, I think those MS wheels are the best looking out there. Any word on how the TPMS works on those rims. I've heard they fit, but not all that well. Tommy @ Rosenthal said he thought they would eventually shake loose from the MS rims. How'd you handle them?

Tommy did not tell me that!!! I've had just 3 days with them and no problems so far.

Hahaha! Whoops! Sorry, Tommy.

Well, when he told me that it wasn't enough to dissuade me. I think I'll just put a little loc-tite on the threads and check them periodically for a couple of months. Might even put a torque stripe on just for easy verification.
