Which tires to get?
Hey all,
Finally there...need new tires for my wife's RX8. Too many burnouts!! ;-) j/k Any personal recommendations? I am looking at the following...
Dunlop Direzza DZ101 (ZR rated)
Yokohama YK520 (VR rated)
Continental ContiExtremeContact (ZR rated)
Anybody riding on any of these? Performance is important...but safety is #1.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I've been looking at the Continental ContiExtremeContact. They offer a little more range as far as driving conditions, my 8 is a daily driver. They also have great reviews on tirerack.

I was able to get 245/40-18's for 156.00 with free shipping.
I then took it to costco for installation, where it's cheap if you're a member.

General Exclaim UHP's
I thought I would regret this purchase, but I really like them.
Check out the reviews of these at Tirerack.com and see what you think.
I didn't like the OEM Bridgestones and I really liked my Avon's, but they really got noisy way too soon.
So far these Generals have been very good. I'll admit that I only have about 8K on them, but I feel that they will go the distance.
