Thumbs up Tire Rack customer service ROCKS

I just got some Mille Miglia EV-R 18x8 F and 18x9 R from the Tire Rack. They came today and I was upset to find that there were some blemishes on the outside of one of the wheels, and a some scratches in the aluminum on the inside of the another. Needless to say, I called customer service to inquire about getting those wheels replaced. I was ready to put on the boxing gloves and go toe to toe with the customer service rep. But plans quickly changed when within 2 minutes of letting them know that the product was damaged, they gave me a 33% refund on each damaged wheel if I kept them as is. That was a total bombshell.. off came the "war face" and on came "wow, finally a good merchant face". Ended up being a $80 refund on each wheel damaged. You can't beat that with a stick, especially for blemishes that are only really noticable when you get up close and personal with the wheel. Kudos to Tire Rack for having one kickass customer service squad!

Did they do the TPMS sensors install for you or did you just buy the wheels separate?

No, I did the TPMS install on the wheels myself. Very easy. Just have to make sure you have a torque wrench because the TPMS valve stems need to be tightened to 52 inch lbs to get a good seal so they don't leak. The TPMS are just funky valve stems with a small transmitter on it.. Nothing to difficult
