So I'm ready to buy some new tires for my '05 beauty, and I can't really narrow it down to the final choice. I have a place that will price match any reputable store (online as well) so i've used tirerack as my base.

I'm debating three tires right now (no particular order below) and could use some help narrowing it down:

Kuhmo Ecsta SPT -- $100/tire at tirerack.com
Pirelli PZero Nero -- $151 closeout at tirerack.com (normally $300 ish)
Falken FK452 -- $137 at vulcantire.com

I live in northern texas for the next few years so I just won't drive if it gets too cold. My big three needs are cornering stability (obviously since I drive an 8!), road noise, and tread wear.

I've read through the forum discussions on the kumho and the falken as well. Any recommendations??!?!

 

Kuhmo are very good, a few local owners here have them and like them.
ToyoT1R's are awesome as well.
