Tein S-Tech up front and Stock Springs out back? Comments?

I'd like to know your thoughts about my idea....

I carry 4 passengers (sometimes 5) in my car more often than I would like to admit. When I pass by a reflection of my car at the side of the road my rear suspension looks slammed and my tire is tucked like a mini truck. My front suspension looks the same though, even with the car fully loaded.

I want to lower my car to eliminate the front wheel gap with the Tein S-Tech springs but I'm thinking twice about installing the springs in the back. What do you guys think about just installing the front springs?

I realize I may be compromising my handling (weight distribution and spring rates) but so you think it would be that bad for daily driving? How bad can it be on a daily driver?

I would not mix match springs. The Tein H techs seem to have little, if any drop in the rear, so that might be your best route.

Hold on to your stock springs though, if this doesn't work for you then quit hauling everybody around or put your stockers back on.

I don't track the car, just normal everyday driving... I don't see anything wrong with mix and matching, as long as you're not tracking. I've actually been thinking about swapping out my rear with H-techs so I can correct my camber a little.

And come to think about it, when I dropped my car, I started really late at night, and ended up only doing the front. The plan was to finish up in the morning. Well, something came up and I wasn't able to finish the drop for like the next 2 days. In the mean time I drove the car, and everything was fine.

I wouldn't suggest it; not good for the handling of the vehicle. You actually carry passengers in your car????

get some stiffer struts and some H-Techs.

It's one of the reasons I bought the RX-8 over the Boxster or S2000!

Thanks for the input. I will consider the consequences.
