tein s tech - which springs are the front/back??!! help!

tein s tech - which springs are the front/back??!! help!

I never even thought to look, but im at the install location now and was like oh sh**. im doing this from my phone so apologies, but which springs go on the front which on the back??

The springs should be labeled. Look for "F" or "Front" and "R" or "Rear." If you can't find any prints on them, the bigger ones go to the front, and smaller ones the rear.

Just to clear this up for future readers - There was a F on the tein spring like stated, but the fronts were shorter then the rears by about a coil and a half

No problem. I got my Tein H Tech installed incorrectly before. That's why I remember it.

As clearly stated above "F" is for front, and "R" is for rear.

Even though I'm responding to an old message, that's because the Rx-8 is normally higher in the front than the rear. It's balancing the ride height.
Tein is 1.4" front 0.7" rear.


F is front and R is rear. If Tein made a "mistake" labeling the springs, then you probably got the rip-off springs from eBay.
