Tein S Tech
I need to see pics of tein s-tech before and after. Does it level the car out by dropping the front more? I already searched. I am ordring enkei RPO3 in 18" with 235/40-18 tires and want to decrease fender gap and drop the front more. Thanks for your help guys

It won't drop as much as you think..you still have 2 fingers gap in front and 1 at rear.
If you like no gap b/w fenders, go for coilover. For tires go for 245/40/18 simply it drives you a better day!

The drop is just right for me. I wanted something that wasn't going to scrape every time I pulled into or out of a driveway. I didn't want to bottom out on the freeway when going over a bridge.
Asthetically (sp?) it could be a little lower, but I'm not complaining. The price was right, and I believe it has the highest spring rate for the RX8 lowering springs.
They'll fit me just right.....until I buy my coilovers.

I agree with that that. Tein S and 245/40's is perfect. Been with mine for long enough to say that firmly.

Lovin' the S-Techs on my car. There's a zillion pictures of my car on this forum so you can check out the 'before'
I haven't posted pics since I put the S-techs on so I'll try and do that tonight.

also +1. the drop is somewhat subtle, but as i was posting in a thread earlier it is noticably lower than stock and makes the car look...well just right in my opinion. ive had mine a few weeks now and only just tonight hit the front lip and only because i was coming out of a wawa too quickly, which is my own fault. ill try and post pics, but in the meantime...it looks great man. do it.

I can't speak for JUST the S-Techs as I installed them on new koni struts. They should seem slightly "stiffer".

I still have stock shocks. It's just a little stiffer with the S. Techs; not super bouncy or uncomfortable. It's good for street driving. The car takes corners flatter and responds a little quicker. (So yes, it's better.)

Im tossed up between the
Stech(higher spring rate = win)(kills shocks)
Tanabe GF(lower spring rate = not as much killing)
But when i look at my car, and look at these pics.....my car looks lower already. I have the 40th anny so i have bilstein shocks but really?? I want to lower my car but it seems like id be raising my car with springs.
