had a chance to do my tein basic coilover install last week. actually had some time to snap pictures......the 1st time i messed with my suspension it took me about 8 hours to install lowering springs properly b/c i reversed the front and rear springs.

pic of the drivers side rear susp......right in the middle is the headlight leveler thingy which you have to remove to undo the lower control arm.

top hats u must undo, before new suspension you will feel (sorry random yoda crack)



if you are doing a one man job.........use a scissor jack to guide the coilover up into the thread holes. simply slip the bottom of the coilover onto the brake hub then jack up the brake rotor to hoist it up.



now enjoy a cold beverage of your choice!

what a worthless post. 4 pics and directions that lead to no where. tell us how you installed your exhaust, and you can leave out the beer this time.

it ain't a DIY. it's just a fun pic.

 

it wasn't really a DIY there are already a few good write ups for that. i just wanted to post some shots of the teins on my car and some more pictures of the suspension so that anyone trying to install their own coilovers or springs could have something to reference.

this '3rotor8' guy seems to be specifically targeting my posts and thread comments and hasn't had anything helpful or interesting to say........isn't a ban in order yet?
