Tein basic coilovers
i'd fit into the category of "not going to track the car" but i've heard so much about coilovers and their performance gains, i really want to get them. for the price they seem to be the best (or at least most noticable) performance mod i can do. as someone with a limited budget and whose rx8 is a daily driver, i think coilovers would be a perfect mod. just because you don't go to the track doesn't mean you'll never drive your car hard, or enjoy taking tight turns, etc.

FWIW I autocross my car almost every weekend and do an occasional track day and I still opted for springs/shocks vs a full coilover and the car actually handles great. I spent about 700 total for the Konis and MS springs
