I've got 'em...only have about 160 freeway miles on them, however...so far so good. And for $700 or less, they're very reasonably priced!

It's a nice setup, though there are other similarly priced options worth looking at. For some light reading on the subject, go here: https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-wheels-tires-brakes-suspension-55/spring-rates-other-basic-suspension-info-79096/

I think the Tein Basics is one of the most favorite mods that I've done to my car. Before my Basics I used to have RB springs w/ stock shocks, and Im much more happier with the Basics because I can adjust the height and secondly I feel like I have more control of my vehicle when Im going around corners at higher speeds. Also the ride isn't as bad as most would say it is, it's still tolerable in fact I like it better because I feel more connected to the road. The shocks on the basics compensate for the high spring rate, Im telling you most people who will ride in your car will probably not even know that your on coilovers.

Megan racing is also about $300 more than basics, you have to ask yourself what you want out of your suspension. If your gonna track it and want to adjust the damping and height then defintley don't go w/ the basics and spend the extra money on something else. The basics are just fine for me because I will rarely track the car, they are cheap, and if I need to get service done on my car I can adjust the height.

If you don't plan to track, then they're okay? What are you smokin' brother?
I'd bet money a good driver on a stock-suspended RX8 will smoke just about anybody on even $5000 worth of suspension mods. I'd put the Teins against any suspension on the market - ESPECIALLY considering how INEXPENSIVE they are.
