It doesn't have to be. I've had 100% good luck with eBay over several years. 'Course, I carefully look over the seller's feedback before I buy...

Ask the guy with the Carisma RX-8 if you wanna know how it rides. I think he has the tanabe exhaust and suspension.

this is the real thing, Tanabe released a set of springs for the rx8 however coilovers are the way to go IMO.

Hmmm, $165 for the springs versus $1650 for the coilovers. Lemme think here...

I agree that coilovers are better, but there is the little problem of where the decimal point resides. Now if I could just win Powerball...

i think Powerball is what's shady ..not Ebay...lol!

Like any of us would be likely winners of that....at least on Ebay I can win something...

I'm just saying that its logical that Tanabe springs are available in the USA for purchasing. But some people are not willing to shell out $1500+ for coilovers or they just will not be needing them (track use, race use, aggressive driving, etc.).
