Take a look at my new rims and tires
Courtesy of Discount Tire. They scratched 3 of the OEM rims during tire removal (they later discovered why) and decided to buy me new rims, my choice. The OEM rims can be touched up and hardly even notice that they had been damaged but they insisted. So I graciously picked out a set of rims from their catalog. These are the Fondmetal 9X rims, they are hyper silver(almost like a chrome) with a polished stainless steel lip. They are 18"x8" with a 42mm offset. I think they look great. The new tires are the Sumitomo HTR+ that had been recommended on this board. They are the 245/40-18s and they work great. They look good, give a little softer ride, due to the 1 ply sidewall but handle the snow and rain much better than the bridgestones. It is like night and day in the weather. I haven't spun a tire since I put them on and we have had nothing but snow/ice off and on for the last 2 weeks. I would recommend them to anybody looking for a excellent alternative to running two sets of tire/rims.

Very nice! Terrific of them to replace your wheels. One more picture covering the entire side of the car would be nice if possible. Do these have the tire pressure sensors installed on them?

those wheels look great . . . do you have any other pictures of the whole car maybe outside or something ?
I would really consider that same exact set up for my winter wheels . . .
thanks

I have to say the same about here. I'd probably be fed some amazingly obscure reason as to why it happened and why they aren't liable. That's great you have good tire service centers in YOUR area.
