struts and sway bars!
whats evryones thoughts on getting member bars, sway bars etc.....
im more into the suspension/handling of the car than the all out power that it makes to the wheels! its more fun being side ways and still being in control!
does anyone have any preferences on makes etc.. and does anyone have any on their cars allready? i have found a few products on corksport....but i am debating as to go with auto exe or mazdaspeed?
comments/suggestions etc...all appreciated!

All of the coilover kits so far include proprietary springs that are designed by manufacturers to suit what they do best (drifting, rally, etc.). If you go this way, there are several to choose from (HKS, JIC, etc.).
If you go with the shock only replacement, the only ones available right now are the MazdaSpeed set, which are not adjustable. Koni and Penske (my choice) will custom make you a set to any length and with whatever damping and adjustment(s) you want. I just can't afford $4500 for a set of custom shocks!
In speaking with Racing Beat and Mazda Motorsports, they both have said that fitting larger wheels (in both of thier cases, it was 19") actually lowered the handling threshold of the car. The cornering force actually went down significantly, apparently due to the shorter sidewall making the car much "twitchier" at the limit. So, stick with the 18's, unless it's for looks.
This is all I have been able to find out so far. If you come up with anything else, please let me know (PM).

struts and sway bars!
I've fitted the Racing Beat sway bars and it makes a sweet handling vehilce even sweeter..............body roll is reduced and ride comfort is not compromised.
There's a lot of companies out there telling you how world beating their products are, but racing beat have been around forever and produce high quality after market products!
