What are the stock spring rates for the 2004 Mazda RX-8, preferably for the 6-speed M/T? Any help will do .

No I need the stock spring rates so I can figure out what kind of suspension will be street compliant and race-ready. Throwing on random lowering spring and shock combinations is a waste of time and money.

Was searching for suspension and I found this under Japanparts.com website for RX-8. Spring rates are listed for the various models there:

http://japanparts.com/shop/shop.cgi?...ird=Suspension

Hope this helps.

Alright engineering student, think of a way of to guesstimate the spring rate.

Hint it involves a tape measure, a calculator, free body diagram, and a floor jack.

Come back with the results

Or you could measure the wire diameter, number of coils, coil diameter and free length.

Good luck on your circuits exam. I remember those days!
