Stock chrome rims???

Does anyone know if can we get the original rims (the Aluminum Pearl Satin) chromed? Because I heard that it could probably be done. Is it true? And if it is, about how much would the job cost?

I know but they are like $1500 the set. So I just wanted to know if you can convert the ones I already have (stock) for less...

I am looking to do the same. I think I found a place that will do it but I don't know the price yet. Will post when I find out.

Found out today that to get the original wheels chromed or highly polished would be around $900.00 for the set. I am leaning toward the polished aluminum because of the climate I live in and I cannot afford two sets of wheels & tires.

Capital Wheels can do them for ~ $600. They periodically advertise on eBay.

shipping

I'm on the east coast shipping is 160 round trip.
Still a bargin and they have a swap deal. you pay 1200 they ship the wheels and you put yours right back in their boxes and ups leaves with them. then you wait for core refund.and It takes some time for the refund.but if you don't want to be without car for weeks its great.they give you a tracking number so you know when ups will deliver. have yours broken down the day before and tires reinstalled the afternoon they arrive.
