squeaky brakes...

hey guys, i have less thank six thousand miles on my 8 and here recentley i have noticed my breaks squal like there is no tomorrow. i took it into the dealership once and they de-glazed them and a few days later they started back up again. i just got my car back from the dealership for the same problem yesterday and they put new brakes on the front end. new brakes, ok with me, but i was just wondering if anyone else had this problem with their brakes. lets hope this fixes it for good.

it's been an inherent problem with MANY RX8s.

i've had the brake pads replaced twice by 2 seperate mazda dealerships under warranty with OEMs, and paid out of pocket to have aftermarket pads installed by Mazda.

i've had the rotors machined 3 or 4 times (i've lost count).

NO LUCK. they still squeal/squeak.

there's probably nothing fundamentally wrong, although i've been told i could be dragging a caliper, but more than anything else, it's EMBARASSING and annoying to me.

i'm gonna try and find a mazda contact/address to write a letter to. doubt it will make a difference, but at least i've done my part.

PS - you can try "bedding the brakes" - but it only works for about an hour or two for me.

ditto! i was thinking about changing the whole brake set, but i think i'd rather stick the 3k for a brembo that's been winking at me for some time into some exhaust and intakes. yes, i know it's best to be able to stop it before starting it, but i think i'll manage.. somehow... :P it's only a temprary delay anyway.
eventually, though i have yet to find a company to sell it, perhaps i'll snap a ceramic set on. heard it was about 10k.. any oppinions?
