spring choice

im deciding on spring choice right now. waiting for more money for coilovers. i know most would go stechs and that is where i leaning towards. however, i like the drop of the sprint springs. would it be ok to run them on stock shocks safely? the spring rates tell me ok but i would like to make sure. thanks.

Are you saying you don't have enough money, but yet go out and buy springs, only later to buy coilovers?

You don't make sense. You don't have money but are willing to waste it.

Do you know what the differance is between the two?

there is like a 1000 dollar difference between the springs and coilovers. and nobody said i had to keep the springs when i get my coilovers. im sure someone on this board or anywhere else would be willing to pay half the price of what i paid for the springs. and who knows, i might just go with konis later on. all i know is that im deciding on springs and i thought i could get help from the members on this forum. seriously, this is starting to get sad.

you will be able to run a while with sprint springs, but if you do plan on staying with them, then look to getting the koni's in a year or two depending how u and how much u drive.

maybe you should just learn to read. i said there is a 1000 dollar difference between springs and coilovers. then i said that i might just end up keeping the springs with new konis. i never said that i could add konis after i get coilovers anywhere in what i wrote earlier.

and why are you drinking a beer? you think you got me or something? making me look stupid? tisktisk.

edit: thank you ngorx8 for the reply to my question.

obviously if i say there is a 1000 difference its for the ones i want. if not i would have said 450.
and the question you asked would have been a better first reply to this thread then the one you did post.
gfl is right, you need it.

ahh....... but what about the price of install?

And the fact: Springs are useless unless you get rear shocks at the same time.

You may be able to get away with stock front shocks, but not the rears. The rears arw too weak. Do a search, you will find out.

yes you didnt know the ones i want were a 1000 off, but you were rude writing that i didnt know how to do my math, that is where you got the 450 from. you could have also asked the first time instead of being so rude. i am still a new poster to this board.

i did search for information about the sprint springs. i also pmed one of the guys who owns them. no reply, therefore i start a thread.

and if you really want to help the answer to your question is piece of mind. i know that the stock setup is not bad but sitting on stiffer springs so i get less body movement is what i am looking for. lowered look doesnt hurt either. which is where the sprint springs come in. just in case you dont want to search, sprint springs drop 2in while stechs drop 1.7in.

no more of this playing the bully stuff. if so im not going to reply to it next time. so if you want to help please do so, if not dont post on this thread please.
