Should I take the plunge?

Ok well i've recently upgraded my suspension with the purchase of a koni/tein s tech combo and am the process of recieving my sway bars. I posted a thread asking for the best tires out there and came across the comment that if I was serious about tracking I needed new wheels. More contact patch, lighter weight, etc.. well I was thinking of going with a set of white volk racing te37's I found on ebay in which the seller has accepted my best offer of $2000 if no one buys it at the buy it now price of $2361.98. So good deal? something I should go for? Apparantly the wheels are lighter than oem and they will be visually pleasing on my WB

Size:
18" X 8.5 Rims. PCD 5 X 114.3 OFFSET +40 (FRONT)

18" X 9.5 Rims. PCD 5 X 114.3 OFFSET +40(REAR)

By the way he has a set of Bronze te37's as well.... which do you guys think would look better pn my WB?

I no nothing about wheels, but I've been looking at those Volk's too. My 8 is white, which is another reason I'm looking at them. I'm also looking at the white buddy club rims too. But no one seems to have any real info on those.
