Is shock/springs install diy?

I never did any kind of install before ,one of my friends said he will help with it. He says he has the tools to do it he's good with cars, but he has never done it before. Is this a install easy for novice to do or you guys recommend taking it to a pro?

It's do-able. Remember to get the correct torque values and torque everything to specs. It makes a big difference with suspension components.

The rears are a PIA...but remember that you don't need to remove anything with alignment adjustments on it.........

You will need an alignment never the less...as changing the ride height will change the alignment

Good Luck

It seems like we can do it I will show my friend the diy to see what he thinks. I also wanted get your guys opinions what shock /springs to get. This is will before the street, I was thinking of getting the mazdaspeed. It has nice drop and they stiff so I don't have get sways (unless my thinking is wrong here).
