Review: Mintek Xtreme High Performance brake pads
So I just redid my front brakes and installed new rotors and Mintek's Xtreme High Performance brake pads. I was replacing what I believe to be the factory rotors and pads, although at 60k they've probably been replaced at least once. I already had SS lines and synthetic fluid installed since last year.
I went with these pads because they were extremely cheap and I've heard good reviews from other car groups that have used them. There were no problems that came up with installation, and I followed the proper bedding procedure.
I was immediately impressed with their bite, it was much better than the original pads and doesn't seem to require any warming up. I've used them in several different braking situations and they seem to hold their bite well. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to take the car to the track or get the brakes really hot yet. Overall I'm very satisfied with the Mintek pads
