Rear Tires

Im currently running stock wheels and I'm thinking about getting new tires. I have 265/45/18 in my mind, what do you guys think? Can it have any negative effect? I'm planning to run 9.5 rear wheel next year but for now it would be 8" stock rim. Thanks for feedback! P.S. Car is stock height as of now as well. Planning to get S-tech drop soon tho.

you could run the risk of poping the tire off the rim. that tire is out of spec for that rim width (on stock rim). Also 45 ratio on the side wall is very tall espically if you want lower. Of the top of my head it would be quite a bit larger overall diameter.

honestly, the best tires ive used are bridgestone r-03, or the most recent variant. same grip as pirelli pzero neros, but much better treadlife. but summer tires in august-november and they will be half the price as in the spring....

Those are kinda large aren't they.....try 265-35-18 they will be a lot better

I wouldn't run 265's on an 8" wheel.....if you are going to get new rims later buy tires that fit them then....buy a couple of used tires in 245 or 225 to fit now until you buy your rims
