R.I.P. Edge Racing

Yup, it sucks but Edge Racing recently went out of business. These were the guys who always had a great selectioin of wheels / tires at AMAZING prices.

I got my last set of Toyo T1R's from them via their famous "WTF Sale"
https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...ht=Edge+Racing

Here's confirmation of them going under: http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/for...ng/6953/page1/

So aside from losing a great retailer, now the question becomes....where do we go for tires? Tire Rack is great but they don't carry toyo's. Any thoughts?

Now that Edge Racing is gone, anyone know of a good place to get Toyo Tires online?

Depending on the tire. Onlinetires.com usually has some pretty sweet deals. Especially on the 275/35/18 NT01.

Wait a minute............

This is the same Edge racing that sponsers many race teams?

They had good prices on alot of components too!

There has been alot of consoldation in racing along with drop outs.

Re-distribution of wealth.

just checked out one of the sponsors' site Treadepot and their prices looks pretty good, plus they price match. For example the T1R that were talked about in the post Jedi linked to are only 172/each, which is only 18 more then the 154 posted 2 years ago, on their site and maybe less if you can find a good cupon code. I've never used them, but maybe check it out.

I second Onlinetires.com. They sometimes beat their own website prices if you haggle right haha. I just bought some 255/40-18 FK-452s at $141. They have the 245/40-18s for $129.
