Question on Lug Nuts and Center Caps

Quick question, So i just mounted a set of Work Emotion wheels and the lug nuts that came with it is for a Honda S2000 and the shop said it did not fit (is this correct?)... But i dont have a center cap either. Is there a good site to but these things for the rx8?

Try Rosenthal or Trussville Mazda....both are vendors on this site. One word of caution, I have no idea if the stock lugs will fit on the Works. Best bet is to go to the Works website......if they have one....... and look for a contact that you can talk with.

i would call the place you bought them for and tell them to send the correct lugs. you paid for them.

^^ Thanks for the answers.. The OEM lugs do fit in the work wheels i have, it was tight so the shop had to be careful even with a manual torque wrench.

Mac11, i actually bought this from another owner who had an S2000. He thought it might fit my car and gave them to me for free... So i dont realy have anywhere to go with that one..

ah, find out the stud size and pitch. Then it will be easy to get lugs. you can get gorilla spline nuts on ebay for like $40. They are really small to fit small openings and pretty light.

Can get some Rays lugs too.. Work well with my Volks, as for center caps, probably have to track down a Work's Vender.

The 1.50 mm is the thread size the 12 is the stud size. If they are the same they should fit and your installers are stupid.

1lb per wheel? I have my serious doubts that 1lb for 20 lugs. Thats less than 1 oz each.

Nope. Not 1lbs per wheel. The entire package itself weighed in at 2lbs delivered. Cardboard box & all.. Dan (Staticlag) did the weighing for me with them cause I didnt have a scale, I'll have him post his findings, but pretty sure they were 1lb for all.

Yep, weighed them on an analytical scale accurate to 5 decimal places in grams.

it came out to about 23.xxxxx grams which converted to .05xxx pounds each.

So, for all 20 lug nuts together it is like 1.002 pounds.

the first time you pick them up, they really are so light that they feel like plastic.
