Please help with wheel/tire fitment

I'm considering purchasing a 5-Zigen GN+/225/35/18 toyo t1r tire/rim combo from a forum member but I have no idea if I would have any fitment problem (clear brakes on my ST GT) and whether or not the tmps would fit etc. I've only got my 8 since 2 months and while there is a tremendous wealth of info here, I searched but did not find this particular wheel covered for fitment or tmps installment. What confuses me is that I've seen plenty of members sell rims with 35 to 38 offset with no issues. This particular post had a lot of negative comments about fitment and I'm not sure why because the only difference is it was not mounted on an 8. As I'm not interested in giving up my tmps or intending on upgrading suspension etc. I simply want to confirm if this setup would work with my stock setup. Thank you in advance for any help.....

35mm is kinda pushing it. I would stay in the 45 40 38 35 range but every wheels is different.
I would call 5-Zigen and ask just to be in the safe side. I'm going with 19x8.5 40mm & 19x9.5 35mm but I called they said it should clear no prob. If I rub just roll or shave the fenders.

is the wheel at 18x8? i agree 35 sidewall on a 18 is small. will mess w/ the speedometer more in that case too.

i said the 35 sidewall. lol. he's running over 3% difference on the speedometer. usually the max people would go on speedometer difference is 2%.

the offset doesn't matter as it will work for him. because i believe he is running 18x8. if he was running a 18x9.5 then that would cause rubbing... but in no way would a 225 fit on a 9.5.

Thanks for your comments but I don't think the Tirerack will be able to help as they don't seem to carry 5-Zigen. I'll call anyway. Any ideas about tmps fit?

Tirerack can sell you aftermarket tmps. I think they are like $12.

tpms should be fine.

Suggest you post in the correct thread.

Then find out the width you Want and ask again about the offset. You will not get a look like that evolution without rolling and coilovers or springs possibly.

Also research for yourself. Countless others have done it, but I'm sure you're just a lazy person in general.

you want an aggressive fitment without rolling fenders?
you can have ONE or the Other, not both.

aggressive requires either rolling the fender, sometime shaving the fender, and if it's aggressive enough you'll need to pull the fender.

No way around it....
no go post in the right thread instead of bumping a super old one.
