Pictures of Racing Beat/RB Springs installed?

Hello,

I've done some searches, but not much comes up under "Racing Beat Springs". Does anyone have pictures of the .5" drop? I found plenty of H&R and Tein, but nothing of the RBs. I have done some research for springs on this forum using the search tool, and I think I like the RB setup for the slightly stiffer spring rate (but not too harsh), and slightly lowered drop, but I've yet to actually see it installed on a car.

If it makes any difference, if the drop looks good (don't want anything too low/slammed, but not to close to stock either), I plan on getting the RB springs with Koni shocks. That paired with the RB Front and Rear Sways, I assume should give me much less body roll, sharper turn in, and response. Comments on this setup? The car is mainly a daily driver, and will be autocrossed for fun.

I thought I read somewhere that the Konis also drop the car by a little bit, along with whatever drop the springs give, is that correct?

Thanks in advance.

you can't really tell the difference since it doesn't have much of a drop. (.5" drop in front and rear)

0.5" drop is very conservative, most won't even know it's dropped.

yeah, you'd probably get more drop by having too much stuff in your trunk...

but seriously .5 in of drop is hardly noticeable

I got more of a drop out of my car by installing subwoofers. Now with the S-Techs in the rear...

Is this all you do at work? Make cover up stories for the mysterious disappearances of various rx-8 club members?

Yes, thank you for the link! Provides a great amount of information for spring rates and drops.

I think I'll still go with the Racing Beat setup. I am fine with the stock ride height, so I don't need a huge drop.

I'm afraid with the car too low, I could scrape the front a bit more than I'd like.

Thank again, I appreciate it.

The RB springs in combination with the Koni's and sway bars are a very nice set up. You'll be very happy. I have a neighbor back home who has this, along with some nice Enkei wheels and he is delighted with his car. Are you out there Razerback???
