Hi Guys,

Apologize for the dumb question.

I own a 2006 RX8 and the dealer tells me I need new tires. I don't normally drive my car very hard. I have stock rims and tires as of now.

Can anyone recommend any good tires that I can replace mines with? Do you guys recommend the stock tires?

stock tires are good but you can probably get better for that kind of money.
do you have a lot of rain in your area?

look into the Kumho Ecsts SPT, those are good tires and generally get good reviews on here.
I had a pair of the Kumho MX's, those were great tires but they don't long on normal driving.
I'm now using Toyo T1R's (my 2nd set) and they're amazing tires! A little more then some people like to spend though.

 

im looking at Falken Azenis RT-615 Tires. i currently have bfgoodrich kdw ta's. let me tell ya, excessive roadnoise.

 

What conditions do you drive in? That's going to help us make suggestions. Specifically, where are you located?

 

Those Falkens are really good. At least so I hear. I have Hankook Ventus RS3s for the track and really like them so far. Perhaps look into the Nittos NTO5's too. It really just all depends on how much you want to spend. Read personal reviews as well.
