New springs available - Active GT

We found these new springs for the RX8. The Japanese company is called Espelir and they drop the car 30mm front and back (that's almost 1.25 inch) and has a higher spring rate than stock and 30% higher grade stroke volume then the previous model. These are consided to be an equivelant to the larger names in the spring industry but better in price. We are getting a shipment in at the end of the month.

The price seems reasonable. I had a tough time finding lowered pics, can someone point me to some pics that have listed amount of drop?

I'll try to find a pic of the car lowered on the springs. The drop looks as though it's close to the Eibach.

damn........1.25 inches huh. i really want these springs but im afraid my MS bumper will need some band-aids in no time. ground clearance is already scary on stock ride height with just the front bumper.

btw nice price. only other place i saw selling these springs wanted $160 for fronts only and about same for rears.

Didn't the Eibach make the *** end drag (appear lower in back than front)? I didn't like that appearance too much.

The company in Japan is not releasing the spring rates to the public. All that they said to me was that the rates were proprietary information. They did say that they were the same as Eibach. I called Eibach to get thier spring rates and they told me the same thing.

How do they expect us to make a decision without knowledge about spring rates? That's crazy. I for one may put stiffer springs on, but I'm only interested in removing a bit of body motion - nothing extreme. I supposed I'll have to wait for others to install some and then beg a ride.
