New Rubber

Went from the stock size 245's to 255's. I could have gone bigger but I like this look better

You see the baby stretch in the first picture, that was due to me fitting the 245's onto PF01's. I had just bought the tires and didnt feel like spending money to replace perfectly good rubber. Well after my GF curbed my front wheel the other week I figured it was a sign to buy so wider tires.

A huge thanks to Rishie over at Auto RND in Freemont. Ordered the new wheel, the tires and gave me a great deal on both. He even mounts and balances, a full service shop!

Stock size is 225, is that what you had before? And you went to 255/45?

too bad you didn't go with 265, if she hits the curb again with any speed you will be dead meat again as there isn't that much protection

I need new rubber soon too, mine's getting thin. How much wide you could go with stock wheels... 275?

245/40 max on the oem wheels... stock dd 8 doesn't need anymore grip than that; you'd just be burning mpg's.
