A NEW APPROACH WITH TEIN S-Tech SPRINGS
In order to get the best of both worlds, the lowering effect and the superb handling, wouldnt this solution work......
We know Tein S tech springs provide the perfect drop, and MAZDASPEED shocks provide the best handling (excluding coilovers) so............ cant we add the ms shocks with the tein springs and get the best of both worlds????
This is exactly what i want to do, but nobody has ever confirmed is this would work, and if the tein springs would still provide the same drop (1.4" front and .7" rear) Would the drop of the teins change is one used the MS shocks???????
PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ sumone give me the answer ive been looking for for the last 4 months, WOULD THIS SET UP WORK??????????
Thx, alex
PLZ SUMONE KNOWLEGABLE RESPOND, PLZ I BEG U

I cant exactl;y go with the coilovers because its gona cost me an extra $1000, and secondily, u need to know what ur doin with coilovers because you have to adjust each coilover to your liking and the whole process is very complicated and i just couldnt pull that oof by myself......
So...does anybody know if this would work, cause I REALLY NEED TO KNOW ! ? ! ?
Thanx so much everyone, alex

I think you need to not just wonder if it would work... and by that I guess you mean will they physically fit, but will they functionally be a correct setup together.
Physically, I would (only) hazard a guess it would fit, I mean why wouldn't they, they're both made for the RX-8?
Functionally, that's a tough call. You'd need to know the damping characteristics of the shocks, their travel, etc., things like that. Then the spring rate of the spings, what type of spring they are, etc.
Then, with a degree in automotive suspension modification (ie. race car setup experience), and some serious track time, you might be able to muster an educated guess as to whether these two different componenets would do something good, or something bad together.
Your only other hope (IMO) is to see what the MS springs tech specs are, then compare to the Tien's specs. If it's a close match, might be worth a try.
Another tac to try. ...Just go ahead and try it! You could be the FIRST with this (possibly) wonderful new combo...or not...depending... but that's what money and time are for.

ROTARY GOD, OR CHARLES HILL or any of the really smart people on this thread need to reply to this thread plz, if any of u are reading this plz give me ur best opinion, u dont know how much i would respect that and appreciate that. Ive become so deperate on this situation with my sorings, all i want is the perfect drop that tein offers, but i dont want to ruin my stock shocks, and i cant afford coilovers, WHAT DO I DO?????????????????????????????????????????????

MS lowering springs and the tein s-techs have very similar specs. and since the MS shocks have a more aggressive dampening force than the shocks, it will definately be able to support tein springs. your ride will be a little stiffer than the stock rx8 suspension. if you want to lower your car without sacrificing too much of the stock ride, just replace the springs. if you really want your car to change its cornering characteristics, replace the sway bars with a slightly thicker setup (ex. Racing Beat or Mazdaspeed)
