Need Your Expertise On Wheel Offset
Need Your Expertise On Wheel Offset
I'm ordering a pair of black wheels on the internet but I'm concerned about the offset.
Theyre 19.85 front/19.95 rear and the wheel offset is 38mm front/ 35mm rear. When
I called the company I was told that I might need spacers for the front wheels.......I
really dont know much about the correct size of wheels for the Rx8 or 'spacers' so
any help on whether these wheels are too big or too offset for my car would be
appreciated, Thanks. Also, could someone tell me what Spacers do?

i think your rear is gonna rub the rear fender, im not running 18X8.5 30+ offset with 245/40/18 in the front and 18X9.5 40+ offset with 275/35/18 in the rear, i lowered the car all the way with tein basic coilovers, my rear bearly clear the fender!! but the front still have a lot of space!!
also, i do have -1.75 camber all around!

Frnt should be OK...but I think the rears will rub if you are lowered very much.
I have 9.5" with 45 offset on the rear and they barely clear at the drop I have dialed in..... almost another 1/2" probably would rub.
