Need tire help!

So I currently have the Nitto 555 extremes on my 8 and as much as I loved the handling in both dry and wet conditions, I felt the tread life could have been better. Im now in the market for a new set but I'm still debating if I should go with another set of the Nittos or if I want something different. I was looking at the Kumho Ecsta and the Hankook Ventus V12 as potential replacements. Im hoping some of you have some feedback on the pros and cons of these or have any other recommendations. Im looking for mainly a summer tire that can handle well in both dry and wet conditions with really good tread life and is not so noisy. Thanks for the help!

I checked them out on tire rack and they seemed to get good reviews. How long have you been driving on yours for and do you have any complaints about them so far?

I've only had them on a few days. I love them so far but the only other tires that I have ran on the car are kumho spts that came with the car. Search around on the forum and you will find most people like them.

Check out Eagle F1 GW-D3 & Continental ContiSport Contact2, both TW's are in the high 200's. Bridgestone's re760 sport are mid 3's but are in no way comparable are far as performance is concerned. I'm currently running Ps2's.

& BTW, there's no universal standard for TW, so each tire manufacturer defines their own treadware.

I just picked up some kook ventus V12's, 245/45/17's for $500 shipped with life time warranty from discount tire direct.

From what my research yielded, these are the unmatched as far as performance per dollar.

But if you want the best tire, go with the dunlop star specs.

How did you get them for $500...Everytime I price them out they are well over $700 for these tires.

http://www.onlinetires.com/products/...10+99y+bw.html

Submit that link to discount direct for a price match.

Sketchy company's cheap price + reputable company's fulfillment = win for the consumer.

You are a complete lifesaver...for the 225/45/18s they come out to be 130 per tire...thats a lot better than the 179 my discount tire was charging me per tire. Im gonna go in tomorrow and drop that price down for sure. Thanks a lot!

So definitely got those ordered today...came out to be 130 per tire on the website so I'm guessing its because of the size difference, and so my discount matched 140 because of the shipping that the onlinetire.com has which is not bad at all. Saved about 40 bucks a tire at the end of the day so Im happy. Thanks again for the help
