my car rides low

everyones been commenting on how my car seems to be lower than it should be and confirmed it today with the mechanic...however he says theres nothing wrong with the shocks struts or anything on the suspension (he was sure there was aftermarket suspension parts in there), the car just is sitting low for no reason. I wonder why...handles like a dream if not better than stock.

I have the same trouble with my rear sitting lower than the front. In fact, it's like this on our Honda CR-V as well and my friend's Subaru Impreza. I like to know why it is like this.
