Mazdaspeed shocks/springs issue

I don't know what to do guys. I have had the dealer install a set of mazdaspeed shocks/springs for me about 3k miles ago and the right side(facing rear) is 28 in and the left 27 in. A reputable, local shop was going to swap the rear left with the front right to even it out but the part numbers didnt match so they couldnt. He said the front right spring had more coil than any of the others which was causing it to sit higher.

I called Rosenthal(the guys I ordered from) and they said that I could have them taken off and sent up there to see if it was defected and it would be warranty but this would take lots of time which I just don't have too much of any more. They also said it could be the shocks because they said they are adjustable, which I am 99 percent sure they arent... I am about to try and get my money back and throw the old ones on and go with coilovers... I am just so sick of dealing with this. And I don't know if they are defected or what and I don't believe in luck or curses but about 40 percent of the **** I buy ends up being defected.

Ok, thread moved now.

Razz, it was on a lift when this was done measured.

Bump. Somebody, help? I did some more searching and came up with something called preloading. That it would allow the suspension to even out then you tighten the bolts on the a-arm or something. Any ideas?

When I put mine on, I left the bolts on the control arms loose, took the car around the block, and came home and tightened them with the car on the ground.

So could I do this myself? Just loosen the bolts on the control arms, drive a little and tighten them???

yup yup. Isnt hard to do at all. with the car level on the ground, turn your steering wheel all the way to one side. That way you can reach in the wheel well and loosen up one bolt on either side. Then turn the steering wheel all the way to the opposite side and loosen the remaining two bolts (4 in total). Drive around a bit, come back and retighten the bolts.

I installed the mazdaspeed springs/shocks myself and my rear passengar side sits a little higher up than my rear driver side. I've heard others having height issues as well with this setup........

Mine was about 1/2" off when I first installed mine. I checked it again in about 3-4 months and it was pretty much level.

^^ My car has got almost identical mazdasped mods as yours. Shocks/springs, side skirts, under body spoiler. no spoiler or front bumper though, but do have front air dam.
Edit: are these bolts only on the front part of the car? I know where they are but does the rear have them as well?

No, this is where I had my slight height difference. It worked itself out though.

Loosened all the bolts and drove a little but not much because the car sounded VERY unstable and like it was about to fall apart. Didn't go over 7 mph came back, tightened, and it is a little better but not much. Maybe it is just me wanting it to be better. Waiting on my brake parts to come in so I can drive faster and hit some bumps.
