'Lowering' Worries

As of right now i am completely stock.
For now i was thinking about picking up some springs until i can afford coilovers, but im worried about the 1-2in of drop.

Where i live, there are speed bumps everywhere, and since the car is already low enough stock, will lowering it another inch or 2 give me problems with speed bumps?

I really dont want to have to measure everything... just give me general ideas.

Btw couldnt find anything when i searched, only about body kits.

When lowering the car you have to remember places you will not be able to go... you have to be careful, but the outcome of the better handling is much better than being stock. Just watch where you go. I have my car on Tein S.Techs and Koni Yellows and it feels amazing, just make sure to watch where your going and you will be fine

Honestly it depends alot on your location.

My car is lowered over 2 inches and I have the MS kit which is about an inch lower than stock.

From the ground to the lip of my bumper it is only 3.5 inches. If you know how to drive it then you'll be fine.

Theres one by work that barely snags me, but its only on the bottom lip by my fender wells. The thing is like a dam or something, I forgot what its called but its removeable and only it snags, its not my actual lip

I have Tein S-Techs and yes, speed bulbs can be a problem. I also have splash guards and that is where I have the most problem, with the front splash guards hitting the bump as my front wheel comes over it. The narrow but tall bumps are the ones that I have problems with (very low speed parking lot bumps). The wider, 25 MPH bumps aren't a problem.

^+1...I've only scrapped my mudguards once on a tall narrow speed bump...other than that I've had no issues

P.S.: this was on tein s-techs...now im a tad lower on coilovers
