Looking into Coilovers!!!
Yo Rx8 Club
Been a while sense i have been on the site. Pulling the 8 out of the storage unit this weekend, and im looking to buy some coilovers. Not wanting to spend more that 1200 bucks if possiable and I Currently have 18x8 +45 with 225/45-18 in the front and 18x9 +45 with 245/40-18 in the rear.
Any reccomendations as to what brand/rates i should be looking for to slam it to the ground?
Thanks!!

To the OP, if you are only looking to slam the car, save yourself some money and find some lower springs with the drop you are wanting and install some quality struts.
Installing cheap coilovers will just be a headache in the long run. Blown struts, uncomfortable ride quality and bad handling.
For $1200 you can do better then megan's. I know the Ksports got some bad reviews but there are some people tracking them that swear they are a good coilover. Nice thing is you can pick your spring rate and they will valve them to match.

Unless you install much wider tires or a very aggressive offset, you wont need to roll the fenders.
If you have the stock front bumper, you can lower the car about 1.5" without having too many problems. Any lower and you will be tear up your bumper trying to enter normal driveways and you will bottom the car out on speed bumps.
With a lower after market front bumper, like the mazdaspeed or a lip kit, you wont want to go much lower then .5-1". A 3" exhaust will hang lower and if you are more then 1" lowered, you will frequently bottom it out on speed bumps.

Yo first off, sorry about the spelling issues, I was using my phone at the time I posted. Second I was meaning to say, is there a recommend set up that anyone thinks would look nice and low. Third, I really dont care about ride comfort or bottoming out. Shoot Ive only driven this thing a total of 5k miles in the 2 years i have had the thing. Not many speed bumps or pot holes in my area.

I HATE SPEEDBUMPS!
It will probably work if ALL roads are flat and smooth
