Inner tire wear

I just replaced all 4 tires and all of them the inner thread was way worse than the outer thread. Whats the problems? Shocks and alignment? I can also hear a "cling" noise which I beleive is the brake shield when I hit a bump.

not sure about the cling noise but it sounds like you need an alignment. you should get it checked out before you put anymore miles on the new tires.

And.............if you read your owners manual I think it would've told you what the issue is.
What.......don't have a manual? Go download one for free at www.mazdausa.com in the owners section.
Yes, you'll have to register......but why not do so???????

It could be you don't run the right pressure(not likely since you only said inner wear), it could be camber, or it could be alignment. Camber to me is part of alignment, but others may not think so.

Yes, you need an alignment!(4 wheel) I'd take it after filling, toping off your tank.

Alignment might not help. Try to image google the work "Camber" like this

Same problem here. my Goodyear F1-GS have about 5,000 miles on them and are near replacement because of inside wear. Tire shop says it's because with the car lowered on Tein S springs, they cannot give the wheels enough positive camber during the alignment process to flatten them out. All I can do is roll the fenders which will help but future tire wear will still predominately occur on the inside track. They're telling me to go with a cheaper tire next time as the Goodyears accentuate the wear also.

For some reason, it seems that different 8s vary in the amount of drop you can have and still keep the camber in acceptable specs. I had to raise mine back up to nearly the factory sport suspension minimum to get -1.0 deg.

If you do have too much neg camber, be sure to put the toe @ 0 to help save the tires.
