Am i the only one who isn't inspired by drift scenes behind a tire i'm looking at? Kinda funny marketing if it is supposed to be a high performance tire....of course i understand why tire companies would want to be behind the drifting scene and encourage you to drift.

How about totally UN-insirped! I was all hot on these too, just waiting.....UNTIL I stumbled upon that drifting marketing video stuff. If Falkens just appealing to the "smokin um up' drifters, I'm thinking it another high-hype, low cost, disposable tire for the tuner set.

But I hope not.... but nothing at all about real performance characteristics... so far

Hope springs eternal...let us know Hercules... and good luck!

The RT615 is supposed to be a auto-x tire, and a better one than the old style RT-215. I really dont see it making a great drifting tire, they are to sticky.

The 215 it's replacing has pretty much been the king of the Street Tire classes in autocrossing for the past three seasons. If you're not familiar with autocrossing, it's pretty much the antithesis of drifting. Whether the 615 will be as good or better remains to be seen, but we should start finding out in the next couple months.
