It would help if you asked a question.

I don't get it? Why 19s, and why such a huge stagger between fr/rr? 19s on Rx8 don't buy any performance. If anything, you're degrading performance and ride comfort; and you if you don't pay attention to overall tire diameter when upsizing (which apparently many of you don't), you end up raising the ride height of your Rx8 by 0.5 inches. As for the stagger, the Rx8 already has plenty of understeer dialed in for the average (read untrained in performance driving) driver, so a stagger with the front end being 2 inches narrower than the rear, will dial in so much understeer, you might as well go back to driving your FWD Honda Civic. The Rx8 only makes 238 flywheel hp. Consider that the 8 weighs 3000+ lbs so weight-to-hp ratio is not that great, compared with a stock FD3S. My point is, the 8 will not have the power to oversteer the car with your right foot, unless you purposefully induce oversteer, by braking into a turn very late, and applying the throttle to rotate the rear end. With 10s in back you'll never be able to rotate the car into a turn properly. Ok sermon over...

Funny you should say that. I've been autocrossing the car and I find even with moderate trail braking or fast left/right transitions the rear end breaks loose way too easily. Seems like fatter rear tires and/or larger front sway bar is the way to prevent this.

Then again my driving style may change enough so it isn't a problem any more. [shrug]
