how would these specs look?

g35/350z's have the same bolt pattern as the rx8 right?
how would these specs look on our 8

19x8.5 245/35/19 front, 19x9.5 275/30/19 rear 20 mm offset all around.

i saw that huff04titanium had the same set up with smaller tires and a higher offset of 35. https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...=tsw+thruxtons

how will the 20 mm offset look on the 8, will it make the rims go farther into the wheel well or make it stick out more?

there's someone local that's willing to sell it for 1200 for the wheels and tires with only 800 miles on them. you guys think that's a good deal? thanks in advance

20 offset will stick out more.

20 offset is WAY too low... you'll end up ripping a fender off if you hit any bumps.

I'd say lowest would be +42 as a general rule... although it all depends on wheel, width of wheel, and tiresize.

yes, Z33's and G35's are designed with much lower offsets, particularly in the rear. you will almost certainly rub and cause damage

ahh that sucks, i thought i found a good deal :-P i guess it just wasn't meant to be. 1200 was a good deal right? so the rule of thumb is to get rims with at least a 42 mm offset, any number i shouldn't go past?

when i was looking for rims... i was on ClubRSX.com very often. There offsets are similar to ours, and they usually never run staggered since they are FWD. I was looking for 17s at the time, but if you want 18 or 19"... they probably won't have it.

If you don't mind having a staggered setup, check Club240.com - Their offsets are similar to ours, and youll usually be able to 5X114.3 pattern wheels easily. They also have 18 and 19" rims on their occasionally.
