How to switch Tire sensors to new wheels?

How to switch Tire sensors to new wheels?

Yo guys, i'm getting a new set of wheel for my 8 and was wondering if anyone can give me directions on how to switch the tire pressure sensors to the new wheels? any help much appreciated!

Remove them from the old wheels and install them onto the new wheels.

Just make sure they fit the new rims. That's the only concern. The TPMS being a part of the valve stem, some rims are not able to fit them due to the design of the rim. If they don't fit it's not the end of the world. You'll just have a nice yellow light on the dash.

what kind of wheels are you getting?
not all wheels are compatible with TPMS (as Easy mentioned)

I'm getting XXR 518 Black 18X8.5 +35 offset.. they look pretty cool in my opinion and they were cheap as well. Hope they're not that bad for the money. And I'm gonna go for 245/40 tires when my current tires are all worn out.

Should get those this week.. Too bad that I can't get megans until mid march coz they're all out of stock.

That's an informative TPMS TSB. I did note however that it has the old, lower, lug torque spec. The current spec is 108 ft-lbs.
