How low should I go? (coilovers)

So I got a pair of coilovers (nex coilovers) that allows a drop range of 1.5"-2.5"

Ill be installing a set of forgestar f14's 18x10's (15 n 20 offset) with 40-35 or so tires, and I'm trying to get an idea on what the best drop would be.

I was thinking an inch to start off with, is that about right?

with that aggressive a wheel setup, you have to go lower than 1 inch.

Tire width is just a little bit important. Don't worry about it.

Not my cup o tea. Hopefully someone else can help you with the stretched tire setup. You'll have to go really low or it will look completely stupid imo.

UPDATE: Sooooo I put the coilovers on (took a full day) and put it as high up as I could make them go with still having tread, which turned out to make it a 2"-2.5" drop .... guess the specs lied a bit : /

The 225/40's wouldnt fit so I had to swap em with 245 40's and 45's. with the 2.5 inch drop, I had about a half inch clearence on the fenders, so needless to say It rubbed...

Forgot that I hadnt rolled the rear left fender yet, took it around the block once and the fenders did a number on the sidewall. Lets just say the rubber handled ring tightening tool for the coilovers made a great fender rolling tool......
