Help tires asap

Hey my rear tires are all gone on my stock rims. In my garage i have a set of 215/35/18 and i know the stock are 225/45/18 is there anyway the 215/35 would fit on the rim good enough to be used temporarily?

Yeah, you can stretch the on. You'll be fine, it's a mild stretch.

That's actually quite a large change in rolling diameter. You're going from a 26.0" OEM size to a 23.9" with those new tires, resulting in an almost 8% speedometer error (in your favour, mind you - speed will read higher than your actual speed).

I wouldn't recommend it.

Tires that skinny will make it very easy to curb your wheels as well.

But if it's between driving on bald tires and tires that are a bit to narrow, i'd pick the narrow tires with decent tread every single time.

Just watch out for potholes. i don't think you have much sidewall on those.

If you can afford it, I would go with 245/40/18 I think it's the perfect size for the OEM rims.

Are you planning on replacing only the rears or all four? I don't recommend that much of a diameter change between front and back if you have DSC.
