Help - Stiffness setting of KONI shocks.
What stiffness setting did you set yor KONI shocks to?
According to the KONI website:
For most vehicles, we suggest that new KONIs be installed in the full soft position. (the standard setting right out of the box) to take advantage of the balance of ride comfort and handling designed by the KONI ride development engineers. If the car has performance upgrades (springs, wheel/tire packages, etc.) or the driver wants the car a bit more aggressive, most people find the optimum setting in the 1/2 to one full turn from the full soft range.
I'm using Racing Beat Springs that lower the car about 1/2". Im' also using Racing Beat sway bars and Mazda Speed Strut Braces.
I set my KONI's to 3/4 turn from full soft. Any suggestions or opinions?

1935 lbs. FTW!
I'm using MS springs and set at 1.5 turns from full soft. If you use RB I'd suggest 1.25 turns from full soft. Some of the more extreme autocrossers use up to 1.75 turns from full soft.

Nope

I put mine a full turn out from full stiff to go with my short Sprint springs. I have since made the front just a little softer, but not much, like a 1/4 turn.
The easiest way to adjust them (and I think the only way) it to remove them, since you have to compress the strut shaft in order to turn the adjuster.

The rates of the MS and RB seem comparable (depending on your sources)

My rears are 1.25 turns from full soft, the fronts are at 1.75 from full soft. (need to make them a bit softer though)
