another wheel question...

another wheel question...

Primax Series 006 (PRI-00688142R-A)
Bolt Pattern: 5x4.5 (5x114.3)
Wheel Color: Black\Red
Wheel Offset: High ( 35 to 40 )
Wheel Size: 18x8.5

i want 4 of these... will they fit? will they look funny in the rear? sticking out too much? rubbing? will this offset work? and also what tire size if they do fit?.... sry im a newbie... jus lookin for some help.... and yes i did use the search....

Wow, black and red? Really? What color is your 8? Oh well, to each his own. To answer your question, yes they will fit. The bolt pattern is correct, and the only difference between those and stock is that they are .5 in wider than the stock wheels. Offset should be ok, look here to learn more about offset:

As for tires, check out tirerack.com for proper fitment. You are probably looking at 245/40 or somewhere around there. Let us know what you decide, and i am curious to see pics.

If it's 40 offset it will fit fine. I run a 9.5" wheel with 44 offset and up to 275 tires with no issues

damn sry for bothering you ... im just tryin to learn about the car... like i said im new to the 8 ive been reading everything on this site and I asked one question just to make sure. Dont forget one time u were a newb too... maybe u didnt have the same questions but maybe there were others that you just wanted to make sure they were right before purchasing something. sry for tryin to understand...

These types of questions get asked very often. It's not the worst offense and at least you worded it well which is why you don't have 2+ pages of flaming sarcastic replies.

The way I like to search Rx8club is first use the search button. After that has failed me, which is often the case, I switch to google.
